Thai Deep-Tissue Massage

We sometimes call this massage 'Deep Thai', because areas of tension are identified with sensitive palpation, and these problem areas are targeted with deep pressure, often applied using your elbows, knees or feet.

We also sometimes call this massage 'Effortless Thai', because the techniques are designed to be use your full body and your body weight in innovative ways, so that your body, muscles and joints are spared from exhaustion and repetitive strain.

Many therapists burnout and give up massage early on because giving treatments cause fatigue and repetitive strain. However, by using these techniques, however, you can deliver more therapeutic value while taking care of your own body. This is vital for long term success - knowing these techniques can therefore save a massage career.

You will also be able to perform more treatments and longer massages, enabling you to work more, charge more and earn a lot more money.

Traditional Thai Yoga Massage

Said to be designed by a physician of the Buddha, this is a traditional northern style of Thai massage.

This treatment is based on the principles of yoga and traditional Thai medicine, seeking to help restore balance to the body and mind. It involves techniques which are a combination of acupressure and stretches, often stretching the body in ways it has never been stretched before.

This massage is often described as having 'yoga done for you' or a form of 'lazy man's yoga'. The treatment is deeply relaxing, mesmerizing and euphoric, and performing these techniques is almost as satisfying as it is to receive them.

Many people like being stretched more than they like being rubbed, and some prefer to keep their clothes on as well. As such, this is many people's favourite massage and no massage skill set would be complete without these methodologies.

Rhythmic / Dynamic Thai Massage

Learn how to utilize hot stones, transforming any oil-based massage into a hot stone massage.

Hot stones make all massages more effective, deeper and more relaxing, while sparing your own thumbs from repetitive strain, boosting career longevitiy.

This tutorial focuses on the key skills and principles, so you can get confident and creative with the stones, and not be restricted by routine.
