Meet Your Instructors

After signing up to any of our online courses,
you will be supported by the two Course Creators , Bradley and Pete,
who started Ebodhi in 2012.

Massage Instructor & Course Creator Bradley Jadir

After studying Biomedical Sciences at University College London, I began training in Zen Shiatsu, and Thai massage in Chang Mai. Despite spending years doing a degree, I decided that helping people holistically was my passion, so began my first professional massage practice in High Street Kensington. I also continued my training around the world with as many masters as I could visit.

While the massage industry is competitive, I've found most therapists who struggle simply don't go far enough with the development of their skill set. My philosophy has always been to become good enough such that first-time clients become life-time clients, and my curious nature towards massage has led me to constantly want to learn more and train with as many people as possible.

When not giving or teaching massage, I used to love Mixed Martial Arts but I had to give up the gloves when I became a living kidney donor. These days, I enjoy meditation retreats, veganism, rock climbing, shooting films and yoga.

Massage Instructor & Course Creator Pete Wetherton

After meeting Bradley at UCL where I studied Ethics and Law, I started doing professional massage courses in 2010, starting with Swedish, Indian, Thai and Zen Shiatsu. I soon decided to quit my job as a copywriter for a multinational to focus on both providing freelance holistic therapies and communicating these skills through narrated videos.

While Brad has traveled the world learning new methodologies, I've concentrated on the communication of these skills, seeking to ensure that the learning process is always fluid, elegant and easy for anyone to understand.

Outside of Ebodhi, I also teach mantra meditation skills and evidence-based breathwork. I write intricate parodies, am a voracious reader, and enjoy festivals and dancing (very badly).

What is the Ebodhi Approach to Teaching Massage?

We believe that learning through well-explained video tutorials and supporting materials are the most effective and practical way to learn massage in modern times.

Traditional, real-life classes are expensive and inconvenient - the courses that we did were spread across the world! It is difficult for most of us to find the time and the money, while teachers are often inconsistent in quality. You are also forced to learn at a set time and at a set pace; it is easy for your note-making to distract from the learning, to struggle to see what the teacher is actually doing, to feel self-conscious about asking questions, and to forget what you are told.

However, many online courses often leave something to be desired. The teachers often improvise their lessons, speaking off the top of their heads, filming in their own homes. Audio-visual quality is generally amateur. Furthermore, many online courses feature few or no videos, and they are often created by freelancers with little expertise in the subject, who are often paid very little to complete large assignments quickly on behalf of a company.

Our courses are different - they are the result of the combined skills and experience of a dedicated two-person team , Bradley and Pete, who are both experienced massage teachers. While Bradley maintains more expertise on the massage techniques themselves, Pete has a background in professional writing, videography and communications - this leads to a thorough understandings of massage work which are concise and easy for students to immediately grasp.

We wanted our students to always see the best angle, to always hear the best explanation, while enjoying serene scenery and relaxing music. We devoted years of our lives (and our life-savings) to create superlative massage-learning resources.
